In anticipation of the Caring For Others Holiday Jubilee, patients of Roselle Center of Healing collected gifts for 84 children in the community. On Friday, December 13, 2013, the Roselle Center for Healing hosted the 1st Annual Caring For Others Holiday Jubilee to benefit 84 children and their families in the spirit of giving back to the community. Of the 84 children, thirty children came from local community battered women's shelters.

The monetary donations to Caring For Others were very generous, exceeding $2,000, which allowed Caring For Others to distribute TWO gift cards to each child. Caring For Others also hosted a holiday dinner and celebration for local families for over 120 individuals.

Beautiful gifts were distributed to mothers and fathers from N’Used Consignments in Herndon, VA by Rosemary Edwards, Owner, and her volunteer staff. In addition, VQC, Inc. from South Hills, Virginia gifted sleeping bags for each child and provided a “Caring For Others Train” for the event.

To make the event even more magical, retired Fairfax County Fireman, Cliff Berner and his wife, Terri came to the event to as Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus and gave each child a stuffed animal toy of their choice.

The Caring For Others Holiday Jubilee was fun for all and rewarding for all on many levels in the spirit of Christmas and giving back to the community!

Happy Holidays from Dr. Tom Roselle, the Roselle Center for Healing and Caring For Others!
