high blood pressure class

Dear Patient and Friend,

We all woke up this morning to more emotionally charged news.  It is understandable that fear and uncertainty can spin society.  The news is scary for many of us.  It's not the coronavirus that scares me, it’s the fear and panic that seems to overtake preparation and prevention.  If you have listened to my Sunday radio program, “Dr. Tom Roselle Live!”, you have heard me talk about factual information and suggestions on how to handle this boutique virus that seems to be working its way around the world.  Is it serious? Yes.  Is it manageable?  Yes. There are two things that are true:  (1) “The only thing to fear, is fear itself” (2) Level heads always prevail.

This is a communicable disease and it is spreading.  But this has been the case for many viral and disease patterns before COVID-19 and will be the case long after COVID-19 has gone.  There will be peaks and valleys as to how bad and how long, i.e. some flu seasons are reported as mild and some are much more extreme.  This is no different.  Here are the facts:

This virus poses a significant threat to people with respiratory illness and those with a predisposition to lowered immune function.  People who are taking immunosuppressive biologics are also at risk.  People under the age of 60 seem not to be impacted as heavily and are recovering quickly.  This virus will mutate like every viral pattern.  What should we do?

We must be proactive - build and strengthen our immune systems.

  • Get your rest (7-8) hours every night.
  • Avoid sugars, they decrease the white blood cell activity significantly lowering your immune response.
  • Drink alkaline water.  Any infection has a difficult time living in an alkaline environment.
  • Take good anti-viral nutrients; 1,000mg Vitamin C 2x day; 5,000 units of vitamin D; B6-30 mg 2x day; probiotic 2x day; Echinacea and Selenium.  There are other natural antivirals if you happen to contract a virus, including colloidal silver.
  • The best supportive care is a good chiropractic adjustment, acupuncture, and ionization foot bath.  Diathermy will increase heat and circulation to your lungs.  We can provide all of it.

We are in this effort together.  You will look back on this knowing you took preventative action and realize you prevailed with a strong constitution.  You will be well.  Your health is in your hands.  Don't panic and don't listen to the talking heads.  We will keep you informed.  We have all the things you need to maintain your health and well-being!  If you have self-quarantined, which I don't recommend unless you are sick or at a high-risk level, we can send you vitamins and nutraceutical supplements through the mail.

Finally, wash your hands frequently, avoid people who are coughing.  Use antimicrobials for tabletops, computer screens, and phones.  If you feel sick, have a dry cough and are beginning to run a fever stay home and call your physician.  We are here to help you.  We will be in the office treating as always.  Don’t hesitate to reach out.

With love,

Dr. Tom Roselle and the Roselle Center Staff
